Voice of Democracy and Patriots Pen Scholarships

Post 12141's Youth program resulted in two awards this year. The Voice of Democracy award went to Joshua Hocker, a junior at Madras High School and the Patriot's Pen award went to Austin Welsh, an eigth grader at Redmond's Elton Gregory Middle School.

Teacher of the Year

Post 12141 selected Madras Intermediate School fifth grade teacher Tina Wagonblast as winner of the post Teacher of the Year award. Tina advanced to District 10 competition where she then advanced to Department Oregon competition.
